Maternity Photography in Gympie & Rainbow Beach — Warm, Natural & Relaxed

Artistic black and white photograph shows a pregnant woman, tranquil forest waters surrounded by dense foliage.

Pregnancy is one of those seasons of life that feels big and small at the same time — the days are long, your body is changing constantly, and before you know it, this chapter becomes a memory.

My maternity sessions are all about slowing down, breathing for a moment, and capturing this time in a way that feels soft, real, and comfortable.

I’m not here to make you hold awkward poses or feel stiff in front of the camera. Maternity sessions with me are easy, relaxed and guided in a gentle way that never feels forced.

We move slowly. We chat. You take breaks when you need to. I’ll guide you into beautiful light, show you where to stand, and help you settle into each moment naturally.

It’s less about “performing” and more about feeling grounded, connected and present.

These photos aren’t about perfection — they’re about connection, emotion and the quiet moments you’ll want to remember later.

Where your story begins

Where we shoot - Gympie & Rainbow Beach

Some of my favourite maternity spots are close to home:

  • Rainbow Beach dunes — warm sand, soft breeze, the most beautiful golden light

  • Coastal bush trails around the Cooloola region

  • Quiet creeks and open fields around Gympie

  • Your home if you prefer something slow and cosy

Whether you want something adventurous or something calm, we’ll choose a location that feels like you.

What to expect

  • A relaxed, comfortable session with gentle guidance

  • Movement over posing

  • Soft, natural light

  • Earthy, warm tones

  • Real moments instead of forced smiles

  • Plenty of time to breathe, adjust and get comfortable

  • A session that feels like you’re just hanging out — not performing for a camera

When to book

Most mums book their maternity session between 28–34 weeks when your bump is round, and you’re still feeling comfortable enough to move around.

But every pregnancy is different — we’ll chat about what feels right for you.

"Asha was amazing! We love our photos and she made us feel so relaxed, such an easy photoshoot. Thanks, Asha your very talented!"
